Themed weddings are a great way to ensure your wedding reflects your interests and passions! A themed wedding can be a more relaxed, informal event that adds an element of fun to the day and ensures the wedding is truly unique! We have put together a few of our favourite themed weddings that we have worked with real couple to help create their vision and express their passion! And also one of our recent styled shoots!
Pirate Wedding Theme!
Andrew and Naomi decided on a Pirate Wedding, with the perfect setting of Liverpool Maritime Museum!
The ‘Pirate’ dressings were kept to a minimum for an elegantly dressed aisle with just hints of sea shells and maritime ropes. The main dressings were kept for the reception, hidden from the guests until after the ceremony!
‘Ship-in-a-bottle' table centres and bespoke table name cards set the scene for the wedding breakfast, complimented with trunks and pirate chests for gifts and sweet jars.
A ships mast, rigging and lanterns created the perfect photo opportunity and themed setting for our bespoke ‘treasure map’ table plan. Details used throughout the venue including pirate bunting, maritime ropes and skull and cross bones flags ensured that the theme worked throughout the space.
Motor Racing Wedding Theme!
Mark and Sarah wanted a wedding that reflected their love of motor racing but still had lots of bright, autumn inspired florals to keep it beautiful!
Table centres were created from vintage oil cans and mini car tyres dressed with bright florals. Tables were all named after motor racing tracks with our unique stationery designs carried from the wedding invitations to the table name cards and place setting cards.
Mark managed to find a Porche bonnet which we turned into their table plan – which created an amazing statement in the wedding and a wonderful keep sake for the couple!
Industrial Wedding - A Styled Wedding Shoot!
Dressings for a wedding should work with, and compliment your venue.
When were asked to dress the amazing ‘Hack Green Nuclear Bunker’ we wanted to add a tropical feel that would work well with the industrial setting.
Giant monstera leaves and ferns mixed with geometrics and a colour pallet or gold, black and green complemented the colours and shapes from the venue but were softened with oversized orchids.
Our neon Wings added an element of glamour to the venue but still kept within the overall look.
