Hi, I'm Bridget, the face behind Bridget Photo Art!

I'm a Lancashire wedding photographer who loves capturing weddings in a natural, relaxed and storytelling way. My goal is simple – to create beautiful, genuine photographs that bring you straight back to how your day felt, not just how it looked.

I know that not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera (I certainly don't!), so I keep things fun, easy-going and as natural as possible. Rather than endless posing, I gently guide you when needed and let the real moments unfold – the laughter, happy tears, big hugs and all the little in-between moments that make your wedding uniquely yours.

From your first enquiry to delivering your final gallery, I want the whole experience to feel personal, relaxed and enjoyable. I'm always happy to help with timelines, share advice from years of photographing weddings, and be a calming presence on your day.

Don't worry about making everything perfect. The things you'll remember most won't be whether every napkin was straight or the flowers matched perfectly – they'll be the way your partner looked at you, the hugs from your loved ones, and all the unexpected little moments in between. We are so happy that we chose Bridget as the photographer for our wedding day. We had a small registry office wedding with only 10 guests, but she captured every special moment so beautifully. Looking through them brings us right back to the day. Before the wedding, she took the time to meet with us through a video chat and go through exactly what kind of photos we wanted, including group photos, individual family pictures, and all the important moments we didn’t want to miss. It made us feel very organised and relaxed knowing everything had been discussed beforehand.
On the day itself, she was so kind, patient, and professional. Our son is 2 years old and usually very shy and uncomfortable around new people, but she was amazing with him and helped him feel calm and comfortable. That really meant a lot to us and made the experience much easier.

Over the years I've had the privilege of photographing so many wonderful weddings, from intimate ceremonies with just a handful of guests to larger celebrations filled with family and friends. Every wedding is completely unique, and that's one of the things I love most about being a wedding photographer. I love getting to know each couple, capturing all the genuine moments throughout the day, and telling the story of their wedding in a natural and relaxed way.

I've worked at a variety of venues across Lancashire and the North West, and it's always exciting to experience somewhere new. A couple of venues I particularly enjoy returning to are The Cloisters at Bolton, which is a real hidden gem full of character, and Beeston Manor, with its beautiful surroundings and lovely atmosphere. That said, for me it's never just about the venue – it's the people, the emotion and the memories being made that make every wedding special.
