Yorkshire Violinist creates beautifully personal live music for weddings and special occasions, bringing warmth, elegance and genuine feeling to every celebration.

Led by professional violinist Emily Harding, each performance is carefully shaped around the people at the heart of the day. From meaningful aisle songs and joyful ceremony exits to relaxed drinks receptions and unforgettable wedding breakfasts, couples can choose the Chapters of their day they would like filled with live music. Performances are available as solo violin or through a range of ensemble options, including violin and piano duo, trio and string quartet.

At Yorkshire Violinist, the ethos is simple: no two love stories are the same, so no two wedding soundtracks should be either. Every couple is listened to, supported and encouraged to choose music that truly feels like them, with thoughtful planning and a warm, personal service from the first enquiry to the final note.

Sustainability is part of the story too, with a tree planted through JUST ONE Tree for every wedding booked.

I have been incredibly fortunate to perform at beautiful wedding venues across the UK. Some I return to regularly include Middleton Lodge Estate near Richmond, The Venue at Bowers Mill and The Moorlands Inn in Halifax, Bagden Hall and Briar Court Hotel near Huddersfield, and Hazlewood Castle near Tadcaster.

Choosing a favourite is almost impossible, as every venue has its own character. The Venue at Bowers Mill will always be special because it was one of the first venues I performed at as Yorkshire Violinist. I also love the elegance of Middleton Lodge Estate and the spectacular settings of Newton Hall in Northumberland, Askham Hall near Penrith and Wharfedale Grange near Harrogate.

As Yorkshire Violinist continues to grow, I would love to explore even more venues across the Lake District and North West, areas I visit frequently through my love of hiking and my family connections in Merseyside.
