Hi I’m Gill, an Independent Wedding Celebrant based in Newton-le-Willows. My mission is to create ceremonies that people didn’t realise were possible. Ceremonies that include whatever you want, are held wherever you want, and most importantly, are just what you want!

I am a warm and friendly person and people tell me I am calm and easy to work with - I have a background in adult education, so I am especially fond of sprinkling a bit of extra magic on my ceremonies for families and guests that are neurodivergent.

Think of me as the teller of your stories and your advocate in all situations. There is also no “normal” in my ceremonies - if you want to do it, let’s make it happen.

From weddings and vow renewals to elopements and more, consider me your go-to guide from the first excited hello to the final joyful cheer.

P.S… in case anyone asks, in my book, pets are considered VIP wedding guests!

If you don’t know where to start with planning your ceremony, think about how you want it to feel first. Small and intimate? Relaxed? Fun? Family First? - then everything else can be built around that.

I have been to Parrs Bank Hotel in Warrington and this is a hidden gem - it's beautiful inside and the accommodation is gorgeous. I also love Cottons Hotel and Mere Court Hotel in Knutsford - such lovely staff and very easy to work with.
